Jim Stack, who led Western Suburbs in its first year of competition, was a true leader and an accomplished rugby player who starred in Rugby League with fine performances. The son of an Irish immigrant and a hard, tough mother, Jim played hard, reflecting those values. Jim captained Wests to their first-ever 1st-grade victory, marking his place in history.
