ROYAL HOTEL – SUTHERLAND
Originally called the National Park Hotel at the time of opening in 1890 the Royal Hotel became a supporter of all things Sutherland. As the railway was important the pubs were the nucleus of Sutherland where meetings were held, decisions made and the life and times of patrons were supported. Through Australian History Art research the Royal Hotel was the first documented sponsor of Rugby League in the Sutherland Shire in 1913. This piece of history is available to the buyer in framing choice, numbered, signed and authenticated. Sized at 29 x 51 cm the piece is limited to 41 copies.
