Australian surfing was dominated by the toothpick surfboard between 1934 and 1956 when the Malibu board entered Australia. The toothpick print epitomizes the Toothpicks at its peak and the surfers who rode them. So iconic is the toothpick photograph taken at Cronulla Beach in 1953 the photograph has its own name. Australian History Art is proud to release this print representing a most famous part of world, Australian and Cronulla Surfing History.

Legend has stories of the toothpicks being surfed at exotic and remote locations around Cronulla which surfaced at the 100 year surfing celebration in Cronulla in 2015. Australia History Art hopes that the period of surfing that the toothpicks print represents is displayed in a respectful process that the toothpicks deserve. This print is an extremely unique gift for friends, family or collectors.
