WORONORA HOTEL – COMO
In 1883 William Hanley an Irish immigrant opened the 1st licensed hotel in the Sutherland Shire with his wife Annie. The “Woronora Hotel” at Como was near the construction of the Como Rail Bridge. The hotel has a short and colorful history with a built in customer base from the bridge workers. William Hanley was also able to get himself ordained as the post master for Como at the hotel. This product is not available anywhere else and has sales by pre order upon release. Limited to 41 copies not expected to last long. Sized at 29 x 51 cm with framing choices for the owner’s requirements, also numbered, signed and authenticated by Australian History Art.
