Yowie Bay Hotel Artwork
Yowie Bay Hotel Artwork
Opened in 1903 the Yowie Bay Hotel had a short but colorful history in one of the most beautiful places in the Sutherland Shire. Used as destination for push bike racers from Sydney, sailing events, boating activities of all kinds, holiday stays and day trippers. Locals mixed with the visitors and life was good at the Yowie Bay Hotel. Sadly closed as a hotel in 1918 the hotel served as a hospital for some time after the end of the first world war. This was due to the Spanish Flu Epidemic which ravaged the world. This piece is numbered, signed, authenticated and limited to 41 copies. Sized at 29 x 51 cm with framing choices for the buyer.
